Ain wedding @ Desa Kartika

One of my polymates/colleague got hooked on the 11/2/12. Im very happy for her, in fact, i really feel they're meant for each other. They look so compatible! The wedding was held at Desa Kartika at Heeren.

What i feel about the space was that, i dislike the layout of the space, it has very little space for people to go in and out of the restaurant. The food quality was average, not much variety though. Personally, i think it's not an ideal place for marriage because of the crowd and layout arrangement. The DJ at that event totally spoils the mood, i just felt that the humour that he's trying to make all sounded very sarcastic. gosh!

It was my first time, attending wedding held in town. I was torn apart thinking on what to wear. I even brought my baju melayu top, just in case. hehe! Overall, im happy for ain, hehe, she looked gorgeous as expected ;)

Done with that, my Bb(s) & roshan, we went over to cine for some arcade session, along with supper. Thankfully, my Bb(s) stayed near with me, thus, we managed to cab home. I just cant stand the crowd in the train on a weekend, so torturous!

Here comes my lazy mood.

I've been having frequent dates with love. There's pros and cons to it. Pros' we get to spend more time together, strengthen the bond that we have. Cons, we spent ...alot.

Gosh, Singapore doesnt really have much interesting place to do/visit. That's what i feel. You tell me, if there's any interesting place/activity that we could do.

On a lighter note, i still enjoy every moment being with love. He just brings so much meanings in my life. Just that, now he's gaining weight :( After effects of ORD, this is bad. Must persuade him to exercise more.

Currently, im taking a photography course, to improve my works/skills. My class is going good. True enough, good photography doesnt just happens overnight, it takes effort, commitment and creativity to go far. It is a process of learning. My instructor mentioned, ' Being alone in photography will never help. Go in groups..2 or 3. That way, you have your assistants and fellow photographers to critics on your works, thus helping you to improve.'

He labbeled us as SAP ( serious amateur photographer). So far, so good. I'm enjoying what i'm learning and i look forward to my next class, in which we're going to do some outdoor evening shoot.

Once upon a milkshake

Our first time trying once upon a milkshake at pasir ris sports & recreational centre. Our flavour was cookies and cream and boy, it made us fell in love with it.

It was our first time swimming here as well. Im impressed with the tranquility and cleanliness of the surrounding. Plus, i love the atmosphere of the cafe once upon a milkshake. They have a variety of seating kinds, quite an interesting concept. Do drop by here and check it out!

PBG at JB

The tittle says it all. This outing happened around last 2weeks. We went over to JB to have some shopping and eating spree!

Fil was having leave and so, she joined us and we had lotsa fun, watching movie Keramat, eating at Sushi King then having youghurt ice cream at Tutti Frutti plus we even went around the area, accompanying Fil to take some shots.

It was our first time heading to Msia with Fil. And i love the fact that i had the best of both company :)

So, the movie Keramat had quite an abrupt ending, i feel. There were some parts that we don't quite understand about the movie. Especially the last part, in which all of the characters are dead.

Sushi at Sushi King was nice but the quality of sushi wasnt tip top. The rice was as tasty and the filling wasnt that fresh too. I'd say Ramen Ten provide better sushi than them. Hehe, i can say this as im an avid sushi eater!

And of course we did shopping here and there. It's worth shopping at JB if you cant get stuffs which cost cheaper there. Not all stuffs are cheap there, of course. There are some stuffs which costs much expensive that the price sold here.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The next time i go there, shall persuade love to eat at lorong. Ive been wanting to dine there. I love the old antique rundown atmosphere and the cheap food! :)

Thankgod, we're back safely. More trips to come :))

Neglected.

I know i've been neglecting this space of mine. I've been busy with my plans and things in life that i hardly have the time to do proper update and my mood to blog seemed to be fading.

Guess, my blog will be pictureless for the next few posts.

Tomorrow will be an interesting day for me, hopefully. I'm planning to head to Ubin with my Bbs' to do some water activities. Who's my Bbs'? Well, i'll let you know when im back from my short trip along with the pictures.

IKEA; To dine than shop?

Few days back i had a date with punat to IKEA at tampines. It was on a weekend and we went there to settle one of our tasks with regards to our upcoming business.

Little did we know, the place was so crowded. In fact, it was my first time seeing IKEA that packed! The Q to get food was very long. It was unfortunate for us that both of us were already starving. Even to get an empty table, we had to wait for few mins as all of the tables were taken. People actually stand beside a table to standby to get a seat once its empty.

The menu was simple but i guess its tasty, that was the reason for the crowd.

We still have have few more tasks to settle in time to come. Looking forward to more dates with punat.

First badminton date, ever!

Even though we've been together for about 4 years plus, we never had any badminton match together. Believe it or not?

And so, we did something for the first time together! I've been wanting to play badminton actually. We had it at Pasir Ris CC, it was a healthy match, hehe and love gets tired easily compared to me. For once, i can beat him in a competition.

Amirah's Grill

My coco's gotten her first pay from her first job as an admin assistant, for a temporary job. I'm happy and proud of her. We had dinner at amirah's grill along with love. I had my Lamb Steak and coco had her Chicken kebab, while love ordered hummus. The hummus tasted awesome, i thought.

It's such a great snack to have if you feel hungry but wouldnt want to have something big. It goes really well with the pita bread. Do, try it out, its located along Bussorah St, if i'm not wrong.

That night, i met punat for our business meeting. I hope to go far in this business, i'm looking forward to do more in it. I shall reveal our business once i think that it has fully stabilized.

Apart from that, i'm glad my schedule for my classes is out. Now, i can plan my schedule and hope that things will go as plan, insyallah. :)

PS: Love is so stubborn, everytime i pay for our meals, he'd secretly placed few cash in my bag without my conscious and usually, i only get to know about it when we've parted ways. tsk!

Hardcore Gigg @ Chapter 6

Its been a while since i last went to a gigg. The current gigg atmosphere have changed. It seemed that now it appeals to alot of scene kids and moshing seemed to be too overrated at some parts.

Of course moshing is a must for hardcore giggs and i enjoyed joining in the fun but for some i just feel, too over, the part where the song has yet to reach its peak and it starts and end abruptly.

Nevertheless, i enjoyed being there with isk & jibby, who's being a busybody. Heheee. Kudos to my friend who performed, i believe she has alot of potential and thanks for inviting me. :)

2012, a new begining.

So, how did you celebrate your new year?

Mine pretty much happened at my work place. Done with work, i met my blokes at woodlands waterfront for a catching up session but the presence of other people just doesnt makes me feel comfortable and so the thought of wanting to 'ton' dissapears. Furthermore, im working the next day.

Its such a surprise to see woodlands waterfront filled with numerous people. I joined my blokes later, so they were telling me how packed it was when the clock strikes 12, so packed that they have to walk slowly throughout the midopoint of WW. Numerous of youngsters and families seen all over the places. Banglas also joined in the fun, celebrating the new year. Its feels nice to be with the closed ones. Just that, i abhor seeing wasted people on a new year, i just feel that its not a good start to begin with.

It's nice seeing the start of the year, people start with school, jobs that offers interesting experiences at a brand new year. Sadly, my job doesnt allows me to feel a 'new year' as everything is pretty much the same. Its a routine job, so i cant expect much, ya, i know.

Nevertheless, i hope this year im able to catch up with my sideline activities, i wish to achieve more and hopefully experience something new the following year.

A FB status posted by my friend, ' 2012 is not the end of the world. It's the rise of the illuminati. Dont let them brainwash you. Read your bibles/qur an.'

That status just scared me. There's always a possibility it might be true. Afterall, the issue of illuminati is gaining its publicity. Especially using media as one of it powerful sources, many of whom who never read might not know about this. Whatever it is, i believe we have to keep our faith strong. I pray that we, muslims, will be protected from devil's influences and safe from natural disaster. Amin.

Babygirls

Catching up with my babygirls and a colleague of mine, few days back.

With that colleague of mine, we dine at breeks and had Mission Impossible; ghost protocol. I just felt the movie was quite long, halfway throughout the movie, i was fidgeting around. The whole movie was about 2 hr 30mins. No doubt there was alot of actions in it but i just felt that the 'catching each other' part was too long. Anyway, what i had at breeks was tasty and filling for me, it was salmon with rice, i think. I liked the texture of the rice, it's not dry, its a little moist, a little like glutinous rice kinda texture, along with the sweet sauce. I cant remember what it was called but i am satisfied with the dish.

Catching up with my babygirls along with their nephews. Both of the nephews are of the same age but look at how big kin's newphew is compared to dot's nephew. Kin's nephew was very outgoing, not afraid of strangers and hardly get cranky, it was pleasant being with aariz! he's so adorableeee! Just cant get enough of him. He doesn't even cry much. As compared to dot's nephew, he cried continuously when we were over at kin's crib. He was afraid of strangers and i guess he's really not used to going to other people's place. Yes, and because he was so afraid of strangers, none of us could even carry him, except for dot's family members of course.

Yeah, ended up we went over to dot's crib and finally the uzzayr stopped crying and suddenly lightened up, back at where he was comfortable. Come to think of it, it's not easy taking care of little kids. It's like once you have a baby, it's like a life long career you've put yourself into.
As your attention will be fixed to the little one almost 24/7. It gets tougher when you have cranky babies.

Of course, everyone of us would wish to have a baby that's easy to take care of but at the end of the day, we can't choose. We just have to accept what has been given to us. Well, i just hope when the time comes, i hope i'd get to raise a baby to be strong and outgoing baby. I've noticed how we raise babies from young, really affects how the baby behaves. Such as pampering, giving in too much of what the little one wants etc.

Not to forget, at this young age, we also have to start educating them with basic religion practise, so that they will get used to it when they grow up. Insyallah.

Yes, it was such a heartwarming session, seeing those babies and meeting my babygirls. We should set another date just for ourselves, without the babies, so we can catch up more with each other! heee.

Surprisingly, coincidently...

An express date with love few days back. We went downtown to have bowling and breakfast together. It was a total pleasant surprise that we both wore the similar color top. hee. I just got a little excited whenever we coincidently wore the similar color top. Its like fated, ya know.

Anyway, what we had for breakfast was much more than the usuals. In fact, it was breakfast cum lunch for me. Well, what we both didnt know was that i ordered a side dish and he did too, ended up i cant finish my siew mai. It was my first time dining at Hong Kong Cafe at downtown and i think the food is pretty good, along with the reasonable prices.

Oh, before breakfast, we had bowling, in which he won. What's new -,- Whenever we had a competition, he always won me. zzz.. But really, i just sucked at bowling, i guess.

That's pretty much for my date with love. Done with my date with love, i headed to Grace Digital Lab at clementi to collect my developed holga pictures. Then, off to meet my babygirls. It was a nice catching up session with my babygirls. That night, i met my colleague along with her niece for a short cycling session. The niece of hers just fancy me, probably, i guess because i'm always there to tolerate her whatevernots, every now and then.

Being with toddlers and babies just brings much joy to people's lives.

After weeks of not meeting love, finally we did. We went for a short dinner and had Happy Feets 2. You should catch it, i think it's touching and it has an important message behind it.

Anyway, while walking around SSC, there was a booth where pri sch kids are drawing portraits for charity. And being an art person, how could i resist supporting these little kids, improving their drawing skills. :)

These cosmetics stuffs(on the left), i got at a sale event, i got a voucher from deal.sg which enables me to select 2 items for $12. I purchased few more items and just have to top up $16 more. That makes it $38 for 6 items, its quite a bargain, i feel.

The snacks (on the right), was bought by love from Aussie. I really dont want anything from Aussie except for the snacks which cant be available here.Thankyou love!

Its been two days im sleeping at 2 am. My body clock is totally screwed. When you start working shifts, i bet this is a norm. To get it all fixed, i guess the only way is to stop working shifts and get proper office hours job.

Well, that depends too cause if you're working and schooling at the same time, i guess it'd be pretty much screwed too.

Speaking about studying, i have plans to further my studies. The problem is finding the right moment to start it. It's not really about finance, maybe partly but mostly because i'm not ready yet, for now.

Like i've said before, i wish to catch up with my hobbies first. Once i start studying back, im sure i'll have very little time for all these sidelines stuffs.

At this age, its normal for one to feel pressured as to think, so what's next? Im afraid of making changes in my life. Life is getting all so serious now, most of it involves money. Sometimes, i feel as though we live to earn rather than live to enjoy and appreciate every little blessings that we get/have.

Maybe it's due to the lifestyle here. Everyday is so hectic, fast paced. Everyone cant stop complaining about the rising costs here but no one can actually do anything about it. We all just have to live with it.

Life's sounds so depressing isnt it?
Maybe its my country and i wonder when can it get better, here.

Working in this industry allows me to know the quantity of foreign people entering an exiting our little country.

Everyday, i see these people going to and fro, specifically from msia to spore and vice versa. This is a sensitive issue, i know. Thing is, i dont mind those holding employment pass doing this routine but not those holding PR status. Im not refering to just Msian, there are those from other countries holding PR status but doing the same routine.

Honestly, why is there a need to hold PR when you dont intend to stay here? They're getting best of both worlds.

They dont have to pay as much as we do, dont have to study as hard as we do to earn more than us. They can just keep renewing their PR. Theyre able to rent our their house here and change our money to their currency and be somebody rich there.

Some even hardly speaks english and they got this status. Worst, some become arrogant once they received this status. They dont give respect to people like us. Its like as if we own them a living.

I guess after few years of leaving school, i tend to forget what i've learnt, as i don't really put my knowledge to practise. Now, i am sourcing out for workshops to sharpen my skills and knowledge in photography. I even did or attend photoshoots to improve my works.

I hope to go further in photography and image editing, hopefully.

Savoury candies!

Im not satisfied with the size of the images in my blog. So far all the images i've posted here are all in the largest size, according to bloggers template.

I've to find a new skin soon, i guess.

Love and me had a date yesterday, inconjunction to our anni. Its been a while since we last celebrated it purely due to the fact that he's always away. So, yesterday was sweet. We tried something new, we had kinect at Emax, cineleisure. It was quite costly, $25/hr but the good thing was that we're given a room and a variety of games to select. Well, what we didnt know was the fact that we could perspire so much just by playing it in only an hour! Honestly, the amount of perspiration that we had was almost close to as if we jogged for few km.

Done with that, we had puss in boots, i just love the reaction given by the viewers, everytime each character do a certain emotions. Its kinda creative the way the producer/story writer plays with the emotions of the characters to the response given by its viewers. Such an adorable movie, message of the story is, greed for wealth can lead one to broken bonds, revenge and making one a very ugly person on the inside.

We walked around orchard. The chirstmas deco around orchard wasnt impressive to me. Everything seemed common, its like almost every year, looks about similar. Boring. Oh but we witnessed a car accident, then we see how everyone starts being so kepo about it! hehehe.

In conclusion, everything was lovely!

Taught love on how to get a better picture.
It was one of my slackiest outfit. Paired myself a drappy cardigan, shawl, with high waisted jeans along with my Aldo sandals. Ya, very plain of me. :(

I wasnt in the mood to dress up. My eyes were sick. No lenses for me for a week. Eyes infection is no laughing matter, it might lead to blindness if not taken care properly. Bad thing is, its highly contagious!haishh.

Oh and below, my favourite candy of all time! You can get it at cineleisure, im not sure where else will they sell this cause this is the only place that i knew which sells this. I just love the texture, colours and flavours of this candy. I got myself a box of 6 flavours for $9.90!

Surprised & Speechless

Today marks a very significant day for me. I received a very pretty costly gift from love inconjunction with my birthday in days to come. He passed it to me in advance, scared of being unable to celebrate it with me on the day itself.

I didn't really expect it as he didnt say anything about it. Somehow, moments before he gives surprises, i always throw tamper at him. Poor love :( im sorry. I was in a rush.

Anyway, on the other end, i went on a date with punatlove to cityhall to get my camera pouch. I got my pouch at such a low price at penin! I'll upload pictures of it soon, so stay tune! (as if i've any readers).

The day we had prawning till wee hours. With the car that i drove, we headed to the east, had our night jogs, supper and breakfast. Times seemed to fly when you're having fun.

These few days been spending much time with love and family. Alhamdulillah for the fact that life is easier for us now as compared to previously.

Alhamdulillah the fact that now, im a grown up, able to take care of my parents.

I need to straighten myself back. I know it takes time and perservearance.
I need to keep myself and heart in shape. I hope im able to be one, insyallah.

It has always been my dream to drive my family around. Its been months that i've gotten my license but i've yet to take my family on a tour, till today. I've been procrastinating at the thought of renting a car to drive around because of few reasons.

Firstly, im not too sure of the directions. Like where to go, which expressway to take etc.

Secondly, since i'm still driving with that triangle piece, few car companies have doubts renting to people like us. Its either that, or the renting charge will be higher.

Thirdly, the renting location. The ones that i've found are all located so far away from where i stay. Thus, the thought of travelling so far to get the car and returning it just puts my mind away from it.

However, fortunately i have my contacts. Thanks to my dear friend who introduced this car rental person, in which the pick up point is near to my place. Alhamdulillah.

With so much thoughts and emotions in my mind, finally, i drove my family out to upp thomson, changi, paya lebar, bishan, little india etc. Thankfully paps know the roads, that really helps! hehehe. While driving, paps was elaborating on the history of the places that we passed by etc. It was really nice. heheh, feels like going on a tour around Singapore.

On another note, car really costs alot, the monthly cost, parking coupons, cashcard and oil. Not to mention the maintainence costs. OMG.

I wonder when can i own my own car, hmm..Well, i was thinking before getting married, atleast.
I guess, we'll wait for time to tell.

Special thanks to dear love, who rushed all the way from CQ to woodlands, to pasir ris to refill tank then back to woodlands, then home. There's some stupid moments that we went through. So much of being an experienced driver -.- I really appreciate your efforts love. :) Muah!

SPArty @ Spa by Norfasarie

My girls have been wanting a day out to pamper ourselves. I was doing some research and some of them mentioned about spa by norfa. I liased with her and did an event for us in conjunction to our team bonding session.

Overall, we were satisfied with the food, service and also the comfy ambience though it was a little dark on the inside and also despite the slow and vague response when being emailed.

So what we had was a full body massage and ear candling. Some of them did an additional of Gang gang. The interior of it was clean but was quite cramped for the 10 of us. The seats provided can accomodate up to only 4 pax to be exact. That resulted us to sit on the floor, along the pathway etc. Due to the small space given, we were unable to have our boardgames which we thought of doing it there, while waiting for our turn. We were quite dissapointed with the space as it was mentioned in the email that we were given a room for us to dine and have our activities. However, the services given by the staffs were nice, all of them were friendly and courteous. So, i guess that makes up the issue of the space.

In conclusion, it was all worth it, we enjoyed ourselves being there. Thankyou

I should be feeling happy, full of smiles and joy because now that i know you're here.

But im not.
I'm feeling more depressed, devastated and confused than ever.

Im not even sure on how to deal/respond in this situation. This heart is bruised and torn apart.

Holla people,

life been pretty sucky and pleasant for me. I dont wish to talk about the sucky part. Its better if i kept all of it to myself, i just wouldnt want things to get worst. I've been trying my best to control my emotions and feelings all together.

My beloved punatetek is always there to cheer me up. Honestly, they're just a bunch of happy people. I got for us coupons from shiokdeal since we loveee sushi! hehehe. Thanks to me for being ever confident of not bringing the coupon on that day itself, i've to trouble myself trying to print it out etc. After much negotiating, at last, we didnt need the printed piece itself. Thankyou to the management for being kind to us. :)

Arep joined halfway, i didnt get for him though as i thought he would be working. It turned out that he's having his leave. I just love the session that we had. Honestly, i felt that i talk more than i eat. hehe!

This is also the day, i've been looking forward to. I was right, i shouldn't put much hopes in it anymore. Day by day, i faced more dissapointment than whatever that im suppose to feel.

13 cells 2011 @ Bukit Brown Cemetry

The story of 3 adults on a halloween day.

This event was supposed to be for the 6 of us. Two cancelled on us, one simply not interested, so left only with the 3 of us.

My first time attending a halloween event. We paid $19 for this event. It was held by 13 cells, location at Bukit Brown Cemetry. The pick up point was at toa payoh stadium. Once we reached at the pick up point, we went boarded the coach, we waited for about 30mins for the bus to be full before moving off.

About 930pm, the bus moved off and we went to the stated venue. The whole surrounding of the location seemed familiar to me. As expected, i've been to this location before, during our ghost hunting outing with jibby's bros.

The event began at about 9plus ended about close to 11pm, about there. Throughout the journey there were few fake ghosts here and there, despite that i wasnt really afraid. Their mascots were pathetic. Personally, i felt that they could've done better seriously. Most of their mascots consists of just a scarry mask and normal clothings.

The whole atmosphere was nice, the only thing that interests me was walking around the cemetry, being able to see the tombstones and all. Some parts of the journey, the surroundings felt cold. It felt kinda peaceful actually and the paths were really dark at some parts.

In conclusion, i guess, i wont be attending any such events in future. Probably because i know i wont get scared because i clearly know its fake ghosts and that mindset just toughen me up.

He lifted up my spirit!

Before i talked about love, let me share a little story about my family.

See, i never seen or get to meet any of my grandparents on either sides. Before i saw the photos, i never knew how they look like. Thankgod for the photos that was captured during those times, it allows me to know them better.

Reason why i never see them before is due to the fact that they've passed away even before i was born. To those of you who have the opportunity to get and meet or even spent time with your grandparents, you guys are fortunate. I have to admit, there are times i felt envy seeing people who are close to their grandparents. The common scenario is such as you have an issue with your parents and you've got no one to talk to, except your grandparents.

Somehow, most of the times, grandparents seemed more lenient than your own parents. This is just something i observed. Immediately, after getting the photos, i scanned and keep it as a memory.

Below are photos of my mum during her younger days. She was in malay dance previously and she looked so slim. She mentioned that she gained weight only after marriage, that scares me! OMG. i dont want that to happen to me. :(

I was telling her, ' afterall, we all have darah anak seni(arts blood).heee'

and today's conversation was one of the best! Its been awhile that i felt so much love&live in me/us. Truly, i just cant stop falling into you. hee! :)

Fashion & style

I love fashion and creating my own style. Everytime i read a stylist/fashionist blog, i wish im able to have someone to take my portrait shots. Most of the times, its either by coincidence or unless i have events to attend then someone will take my shots etc.

Well i believe everyone has their own style. I believe in originality. You can have your fashion inspirations or idols but that does not mean you have to follow them A - Z. Try to be more experimental, play with colors, textures and also accessories!

Some outfits are better off being simple. You just dont have to put on so much just to look stylish.

At the end of the day, its how you carry yourself with what you wear. Be confident and dont really take criticism to heart. There will always be people who's ought to bring you down just because of what you wear. There will always be people who's judgemental towards how you dress yourself but dont mind them, this is life.

Whenever i face such people, i'll always tell myself, 'ignorance is bliss.' Simple as that.

I hate the quality of the pictures that i've uploaded here because it looks so sucky.

Blame myself for being lazy, not bringing nikko. Anyway, i met up with my precious guys. A date with arep to JB, where we became like fat pigs ate so much, catched a movie, did some shopping then home. He got himself 3 tops and i got myself 2 tops, very elated because i've been thinking of getting green top! heheheh

It was a pleasant trip and we planned to do it every month. hehe!

Then yesterday, met up with syai & rep to celebrate syai's birthday. hehe, Arep was being all thoughtful but syai's rejected arep's offer. hehehh. Nevertheless, we had it short & sweet then i've to rush to work after that.

I've been staying home alot these days, simply because no one asked me out or i feel lazy to go out or the weather makes me feel so good staying at home. Really, weather has been so good, rain/cold, the thought of going out in such weather is such a hassle so i'm better off being at home :)

Dear readers (if any),

As usual, late at night this mind of mine cant stop thinking about you. Im sorry my recent posts have been very emotional.

There's really no one can i can confide to when it comes to these emotions. I always feel, one can never understand it unless one goes through it personally.

Ive been feeding myself with alot of useful knowledge/information. Some, i used it as a motivation to be better, some just to suit my interest.

Today, i celebrated one of my precious guys, syai. We had a simple dinner at breeks. Arif was being all sweet despite his last minute plans. Hehehe. He's growing to be a man. Nice seeing that :) ahh. We've grown so much but this bond that we have is really special.

I really hope this bond goes on and on till we age. Insyallah.

Gelato ice cream

I had a voucher worth of $ 10 and with that i got myself a large cup of ice cream, which consists of 4 flavours that i chose. The flavours are watermelon, chocolate, mint and bubblegum.

I have to say im in love with watermelon. I was worried not being able to finish it all by myself. I know its quite dumb of me to get such stuff when im alone. Lucky thing, punat was somewhere nearby, we met and she helped me finished it. Hehee.

My first time trying ice cream from that shop, its located at citylink. The chocolate flavour isnt that nice though, its more of a dark chocolate taste.

You guys should try it, gooo!

I've had dinner at secret recipe with the girls(syaqq,sha,fil & idah) treated my fil & her classmates, as a token of appreciation as models for their photoshoots.

Done with dinner, its left with me & fil, we went around MSQ, window shopping and i got myself some accessories from DIVA. DIVA at MSQ is having an awesome sales! You accessories lovers out there should really pay a visit! Hehee.

That's it for today and im dead tired.

Horoscope for today's says i should swallow my pride then i'll turn a day of frustration into a day of enlightenment.

But i felt i've always been doing that. I've always tried understanding you and your lifestyle.

At times i pushed aside my emotions just to make your day better. But what do i get in return?

A deal that cost only $15 of $33 from shintokyo/ramenten @ clementi. You guys should really check it out, especially sushi lovers! I think its really worth getting it.

I want to go on dates with love so badly :(.
There's so many emotions that im going through right now.

I hate it when this happens. I should really sleep now so that i wont have so much thoughts in my mind.

I am still new to this. Its barely a year and im struggling. I can be independant without you around but once you're here its like as if i need you to give me strength and motivation to be strong and carry on live positively.

Full of imperfections

On 4/10/11 marks a special date for me.

The day i started having classes for myself. Reciting qur' an has always been my hobby. I wouldnt say im a pro at it but im able to recite it smoothly. Alhamdulillah im blessed, been taught in reading it eversince i was young and i completed qur' an when i was in primary school.

There are times that i've been too involved with the 'world' and i know this cant/wont go on forever, insyallah. Im taking baby steps to bring myself closer, afterall, we are all growing older and soon, going to be parent one day.

If we dont have enough knowledge, in terms of religion and education, how do we even raise our little ones? There's so much responsibilities to bear. This is the period, i wish to catch up with myself, feeding myself with knowledge/skills to prepare for the future.

Currently, im learning taj wid. Honestly, i didnt expect so many terms to come out. Its such an irony that my teacher can remember so much! masyallah. Its like how much we memorize for O levels you know, those scientific terms and all. Sadly, we forget all these terms once we moved on to poly/started working and its is not needed in what we are doing now.

Imagine, memorizing all these qur' an terms, insyallah you wont ever forget, its a skill/knowledge that you can remember/use for life!

I do have my imperfections i know, with my dressing/way of life and all i know but im trying, please give me a chance.

Footwears

'More of a need than a want.'

That's what i think whenever i buy shoes. We all have to admit, it's tough resisting buying a pair of shoes, which appears to be just perfect for you when it's right infront of your eyes.

Think again, costs Vs material.

I've bought tons of shoes, ranges from luxurious brands to even the cheap ones. I have to say cheap brands doesnt necessirily be bad and vice versa for the branded ones. Personally, when i get a pair of shoes, i look at the material, how it's been sewn and then i'd ask myself whether does the price suit the design of the footwears.

I've seen branded shoes, of very poor, flimsy material, with totally simple design but at such ridiculous price and yet some still bought it. For those, who're brand lovers, they would do that. Unfortunately, not for me. As much as i love a brand, i still wont spend my money that way.

Below are leftovers collection of my shoes. I think i need to get more of it. I have this tendency of repairing my shoes especially my favourite ones. I'll visit my cobbler to save my shoes so i can still wear it. heee!

This post is dedicated specially to love.

I met him when i was only 17. Ive been through puppy love few times and i've never thought this love that we had would last this long.

I was young and naive, didnt even think much about the future. Times passed and now that im 21 this year, my mindset and expectations have changed.

I guess i've changed as a person in some ways or rather. See, love stayed despite all the changes we went through. Im not an optimist when it comes to relationship, i've never believed much in love. Love accepted that part of me. Love never gave up and make me believe in love. Love gave me strength and motivation.

For once, i fell so much for love. Truly, love is the best gift from god. Who would ever expect, once a stranger, is now my lover. Happy anniversary love!

I've never believe in long distance r/s but here i am going through it. Dont ask stupid questions like, 'oh is it tough?'/ 'are you going to wait for him?'.

If love has faded, then probably i wouldnt even think of holding on and taking the trouble of going through all these. I'm still very much into love and i just cant help it.

I'm weak, just an ordinary human beings. There are days im at my lowest, thoughts of giving up crossed my mind. Again, whenever all those thoughts starts playing in my mind, all these emotions with love starts contradicts.

I pray that god give us strength to go through the future obstacles and may this r/s be blessed.

My saloon & beauty at Toa Payoh BLK 194

I enjoyed visiting various beauty saloons just to try out their services provided. Thank god for the few good deals websites, its was such a coincidence that i saw this offer now as this is the exact services that im in need currently.

As usual, few things that i always look out for before getting such deals are stated below;
1. Price
I've to make sure the price is reasonable for the services provided. If the price range falls about the same as the normal market price, then obviously, its not worth getting it.

2. Venue
In my opinion, the venue of the parlour has to be accessible. I wouldnt want to go around wasting my time just to find directions on how to head to the specific area.

Once, i got myself at toa payoh, i followed the instructions stated on the voucher. Initially, i thought it would be located along toa payoh hub area but i was wrong. It was located under some void deck. That didnt matter much to me. Once i got off the bus, i started cursing myself as i thought i've alighted at the wrong bus stop, so i tried walking along the housing area and i found out that, the stop that i've alighted was the right one.

The part that i least expected is the atmosphere of the saloon. The sight of the china lady who welcomed me in, already turns me off. China lady who dont speak english but works in service sector always puts me off.

She took quite some time to settle my voucher stuffs. When waxing, i'd say her waxing skills is 1/5. Honestly, its the worst one i've been so far. The way she waxed my legs is very unprofessional. Tossing and turning my leg, not being gentle at all!

However, the ironic part is that, it hurts the least as compared to the rest. I'm not too sure if its because i'm already used to the pain or its the type of wax that she used. I wouldnt really reccomend heading to this place. If the actual price is even more costly than the voucher i've purchased, then it'd be such a waste doing it at this parlour, based on the services given.

Overall, she still got the job done, my legs all smooth now but really, PRC, don't speak english, please go back to your country and work there.

You should jolly well learn to speak english if you wish to work here. Especially, knowing our country is multiracial. You dont expect every of your customers to be hua ren. Haiyo!

I admit there are somedays i feel that we are getting stagnant or dry. Probably, due to us, being fatigue from our commitments but nevertheless, tonight just makes my day.

Its just a simple skype conversation that we had but today was filled with full of life & love. I guess its me. The one who's always moody or fatigue. Hee!

Arep brought me to a new route for jogging and i'm glad that i didnt gave up halfway though i've the thoughts of it. Such an achievement for me, especially after weeks of abandoning my running routine.

Anyway, love i want to tell you that i cant stop falling for you. I truly admire every single thing about you, despite your flaws and all. Thankyou for loving me till this day.

My water bottle.

This is a story about my water bottle. Last cycle, i was working with a different team. So, whoever im working with, has never seen me before. Most people thought im a newbie. That didnt matter much to me. Some cheeky guys even tried talking to me but i didnt response much.

So, while i was working, my partner happened to be an aunty. I was having conversation with her when suddenly, she commented on my water bottle. As i was drinking water, she asked me regarding the brand of my water bottle. Well guess what, she happened to sell products from tupperware(brand of my bottle).

From there she started doing her promotion on products etc she was so eager to sell off her products. Initially i wasnt really serious in buying it, till i saw this green bottle and i just fell for it.

And so i got myself a new bottle from tupperware at $20. She mentioned this bottle is able to contain ice/icewater/ice shakes etc. Hee so i guess it isnt that bad huh.

Much love and thanks to all my lions for organizing and being there to make this jalan raya a successful one. Honestly, i guess this year is the year i jalan raya the most. Especially after i started working and my social circle gets bigger. Despite that, i never forget my old friends. They are the ones that watched me grow and still be there for me.

Alesana live today and i went with my mate, by his sexy harley. It felt smooth throughout the journey though his pipe is freaking loud. But i've always like bass sounds compared to other noisy ones.

Alesana was awesome \m/ ! Even bumped with my lil cuzz there. I like den & shawn, the two like to do crappy jokes and were very humble.

Oh, crossfaith was crazyshit! I like their music and the lead vocalist looks cute!

Okay enough for today, im shagged and tomorrow im working in the morning, followed by jalan raya with my peers. Im hoping i've the strength to go all that.

Yes my shitty hair, all thanks to the long fingernail-ed aunty at SNIP AVENUE @ YISHUN outlet. This outlet is located at chong pang i paid $7.80 for a shitty hair cut & a very mediocre hair wash. That stupid aunty, being a hairdresser shouldnt have long fingernails in the first place! My scalp hurts so much when she sratched my scalp instead of scrubbing it. blooddyyy hell! I was totally dissapointed with the poor shitty service. I just wanted to trim of bit of my hair but she ended up making me looks super shitty.

I was so heartbroken, i went straight to my previous hair saloon. The saloon that i had my previous haircut and straightaway i looked for the guy who cut my hair previously. While waiting, i was just staring at myself into the mirror. Just when the other hair stylist looked at my shitty hair, tears started rolling down my cheeks.

I had so much difficulties controlling my emotions. I guess i was really moody and tired that day. And to have that shitty haircut just add things up. After a while my personal stylist came and give a proper cut to my hair. I felt so relieved!

FUCK SNIP AVENUE, for spoilling my hair and affecting my self esteem, spoiling my day.

Yes, i've to reccomend people out there who take your hair seriously, dont go for snip avenue, cheap costs, means shitty services. It wasnt my first time going to snip avenue actually, i went before once at pasir ris outlet, that wasnt that bad. But that was when my hair was still long.
The fact that the shop was dirty and messy is excusable for me but to give such treatments to your customers is a total no no for me!

Anyway, that day after my haircut i met tetek who never fails to brighten up my day. However, that meet up was lack of joy & laughter, i guess its me, im just tired. urgh. i hate this!

Plus, i've got no one to turn to, i mean its not like i cant contact love or something. :(

On a lighter note, i've been driving quite often these days. During jalan raya with my colleagues and today i drove at expressway for the first time, BKE SLE from woodlands checkpoint. It wasnt as bad as i thought. Im thankful to have such helpful and thoughtful friends who allowed me to drive their cars and guide me along. alhamdulillah. :)

I need to be happy happy joy joy, i need a vacation, i need to do something fresh and i need you :(

Reading, living and getting physical

A colleague of mine asked me out today. Well, she's not really new. We knew each other for few months and even went out together before.

Anyway, we went bladding for an hour. Its been months that i last went bladding. It kinda hurts me inside because usually, when i blade, i'll blade with love. Not anymore, i guess. He's just too far away to do all these activities with me. :(

I can still remember vividly the first time i tried bladding was with love. He taught me on how to blade and knowing i wont be able to even have anymore fun activities with me brings me down.

Back to my story, done with bladding, we had FD5. Final destination 5 was really gory! Oh and very exaggerated. Its looks super fake. They tried to make the effects looks very real but ended up making it totally fake. urgh,

Done with that, she drove me somewhere near to my place, stopped by some shops to get some stuffs and i drove home.

Its my first time driving again, after i've got my license and it went smooth. :)
Still, I'm not used to her car, i miss my instructor car. I'm so used to his car and i still prefer manual car though i know auto is soo much easier to use.

I wish i could share all these to him but...

We visited only 1 house for today as my relatives are coming over.

Oh, yes i do wear hijab with my family. Some might be against this. Not that im forced to. I wear out of my willingness and even my folks knows that and they are comfortable with my lifestyle is which different when im with my family and friends.

To whoever thats against this, i believe we all have to respect every individual way of doing things, especially about making life time commitment. I know myself best, i tend to be more wild with my friends and i wouldnt want to tarnish a muslimah's image with my attitude. Yes and that doesnt mean i want to be completely hijabless, no. I hope in future, im able to wear it permanently, insyallah.

I am trying to be better.

Oh and not all women who wears hijab are as good as you think they are. People who wears hijab and think theyre like so good than those who are not can go &*%$#*.

Okay whatever, as i grew i began to accept the fact that ya, some might be okay with this and some dont. But that doesnt matter to me anymore. As long as my family, love & friends are able to accept me for who i am, thats all it matters.

Wearing hijab is not just a piece of cloth, its a totally different lifestyle that you've to go along with it. & im not saying my way of doing things are right either. Its up to every individual who wants to view this issue the way it is. Ultimately, its up to god to judge.

Selamat hari raya to all. This year im green! Hee actually every year im greeen! Anyway, this year raya is much emotional i feel.

Im truly blessed to have strong bond with my families from either sides. Ya though we dont go out often and talk often but im glad when we meet, we do just all that. I love that feeling.

Every life experiences that ive heard or knew about people taught me lessons, gives me more reason to be thankful for what i have now.

Its my 2nd, our first & 52th

First and formost, alhamdulillah, ramadhan has left us and now syawal is here. Alhamdulillah that this ramadhan has made me into a better person, i feel.

I resisted going to movies, going out often and keeping myself close to god. Im not bragging here but i feel that it is an achievement for me. Yes i may not be as pious as some others but i put in effort to try and be better, insyallah.

I've been thinking, reflecting on what i'm going through and all. And im glad that im going through all these, i believe god has his reasons for doing so.

& today, i had my first breakfast with love. Within this ramadhan, this is our first time meeting up and we didnt even head to geylang together this year. But i guess that didnt matter to me as i've already gotten whatever i've needed. Furthermore, i cant spend anymore. That short breakfast session was enough to keep me loved and going. :) I'm happy to see him being independant and working out and stuffs. Well i guess studying overseas on your own really makes one independant and that's good!

This 30th, is the first day of raya as well as my 4years4mnths being with love. Im blessed to know such a gentlemen, who's able to accept my flaws and never stop loving me for who i am. i pray that god give us strength to go through future challenges together, insyallah.

Apart from that, im very elated to say, i've passed my TP on my 2nd attempt. Syukran kasiroon, with prayers from my parents and my prayers, i managed to do it sui sui! hehehe.

I'm indebted to Mr Patrick who's been there all these while guiding me, encouraging and never stop motivating me to improve and be better. He's really such a dedicated instructor. Im saying this based on my experience. He wasnt my first instructor. He's my second and my last and im glad i've met him. Also thanks to my girlfriend, syazwani who reccommended this instructor. Both she and her boyfriend took this instructor and they both succeeded in getting their license.

For being such a dedicated instructor, i believe he really deserve some credits.
I did a card specially for him along with a simple gift. I'm passing it to him tomorrow morning. hee! Oh and i cant wait to drive but maybe not now as yet. I've to rent a car etc

Okay, so to those who are taking private manual lessons, i highly reccommend you, Mr Patrick.

One of life simplest pleasures is when you're all alone, going for retail therapy or just pampering yourself without minding about what others might say.

Well, i did that atleast once a month. I'm very comfortable with going around, walking hours alone, window shopping or going for self pampering services.

There are the pros and cons.

Now one of the cons is that, there won't be anyone to control on what i splurge on. At the end of the day, after i reflect back on what i've spent then i realized, i did much spending on impulse and that's a bad habit, i believe.

Like today, i was suppose to go waxing but instead if doing so, i signed myself up with IPL treatments. I thought it was quite affordable in which it costs, $90/session. The staff was so convincing! She showed me hers. The areas that she did IPL herself and im impressed with the results. Anyway, i've been wanting to do IPL, just that i've no idea on where to go and how much it'll costs.

Oh gosh, i really hope this will turned out good. I had my first session today. The pain is bearable and time taken was really very short!. I shan't think much about. This is for future long time investment. haiyaa.

Iftar with the young lions

Im not the official planner of this event but im so glad im part of it. This day, i get to meet my young lions for iftar together. Eversince we started working/closure of SSP, we hardly get opportunities to meet as a big group. Everyone seemed to mind their own business.

I wouldnt say that's bad but im just afraid if the bond might dissapear just like that. This day, many took their time to come down and just spending time together. Its priceless! We had so much fun & laughter together. I enjoyed myself very much being with each and everyone of them.

It might be a short day for us, as arep had last min recall but im sure we all enjoyed ourselves.

Lookbook, is it really about style?

I've been surfing alot on fashion, style and photography. Lookbook is one of the best websites to get different types of portraits photography shots and also a website where you can get to see various individuals with various style concepts.

Then this question strucked me.
'Why is it that some individual dress up so simple but yet makes it looks very stylish?'

The answer, to me lies within the individual on how the person carries the apparels/accessories out, also on how the shot is being taken.

Below are some examples on what i meant on individuals who dress with simple apparels but yet makes it looks stylish. I guess you dont have to don yourself with luxurious pretty looking apparels. Most importantly behind all these is the photographer itself.

An individual can wear pretty outfits but if its not properly shot, it wont stand out as compared to someone who dress simple clothings but with gorgeous shots.

So i guess that explains my questions huh. I just enjoy looking at pretty pictures and hopefully im able to capture such pretty shots, insyallah.

So what do i normally do when im at home?

Apart from surfing the normal websites like facebook, twitter, lookbook, tumblr, blogging, uploading pictures, i do editting of photos as well.

Currently, im trying to edit all the pictures i've took during my close friend's engagement. Since i'm working, i can only do this after/before work or on my off days, provided i'm free. Yes, i've editted a bunch, and still lots more to go. I've uploaded some of it to my multiply too.
